Job Summary The Site (Civil/ Arch) Engineer is responsible for assisting in the supervision and execution of (Civil/ Arch) engineering activities on-site under the guidance of senior engineering staff. This role supports project execution by ensuring work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards, while gaining practical experience in construction management and site engineering. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Site Supervision & Technical Oversight • Assist in monitoring daily (Civil/ Arch) construction activities under the guidance of senior engineers. • Help ensure work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. • Support in verifying site measurements and setting out activities. 2. Progress Monitor & Reporting • Monitor daily progress and report on work status, productivity, and delays. • Assist in maintaining site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and as-built drawings. • Support the preparation of progress reports, quantity tracking, and site documentation. • Liaise between site supervisors, foremen, and senior engineering staff. • Attend site meetings and assist in recording minutes and action items. • Support coordination with surveyors, laboratory staff, and subcontractors. 3. Quality & Safety Compliance • Assist in conducting quality checks and inspections for ongoing works. • Support material receiving inspections and verify test reports. • Help document inspection findings and report non-conformities. • Follow all site safety policies and procedures. • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site inductions. • Report on any unsafe conditions or practices to senior staff. Qualifications & Skills • Education: Bachelor’s degree in (Civil/ Arch) / construction management or related field. • Certification: preferred: PMP. • Years of Experience: 0-3 years of on-site (Civil/ Arch) engineering experience in construction projects. • Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project. • Skills: Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, basic technical knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability.
